Being Human

We started our 2023 spring season working on a joint venture with two other choirs, learning ten brand new arrangements by Kate Shipway of songs by the “Barnsley Nightingale” Kate Rusby.

The three choirs individually battled challengingly varied folky rhythms, and came together to give a sell out concert of immense energy, with Kate Rusby in (the right sort of) tears at the end.
